Notifications in the mobile app

The article explains how the notifications function works and how to configure notifications in the mobile app

At first, it is worth to highlight that the application has the ability to send notifications about:

  • new settlement,

  • payment after the due date,

  • a new announcement,

  • a new message.

However, the configuration of notifications depends on the settings chosen by the facility.

Where to start?

For the notification function, individual phone settings are very important. To verify whether the notification function is enabled for the Inso app, press the Inso icon and then go to the App info > Notifications.

Important! The application must be updated to the latest version in order to work properly.

How to check the versions of the installed application?

Just press the Inso app icon longer, and then select the information option, where we will see the details of the installed version.

You can also check if the 'Update' option is displayed when you search Inso in the Google Play or App Store - if such an option is not available, it means that you have the most up-to-date version of the mobile app installed.

What information do we get from enabled notifications?

  • Notifications of new settlement

    If the facility has enabled this feature, you will always receive an email and a push notification in the mobile app after sending a new settlement.

  • Notification of payment after the due date

    If the facility has enabled this feature, once the billing payment is overdue, the parent will receive an email and a push notification on the mobile app to remind them to make the payment.

  • Notification of new announcement on the noticeboard

    The facility, when adding a new announcement to the noticeboard, decides whether the parent should receive a notification. When adding a new announcement, it has the option to check or uncheck the "Send notification to parents" option.

The parent, from his/her account in the Inso app, can decide whether the notification should come only as a push in the mobile app or additionally in an email. If a parent doesn't want to receive notifications, they can turn them off by unchecking the available options under Notifications in the Account settings.

    Notification of a new message comes only as a push notification to the phone on the mobile app.
